About the Researcher

To You

Hi, and welcome. My personal identity and politics are irrelevant to the scope of this project, beyond that I’m an antifascist.

My work is largely, simply, aggregation. When I got into local antifascism, there was no larger body of reference material I could look at to get a full frame of the far-right reactionary ecosphere in New England. It was fragmented, like a handful of partially-done puzzles all on the same table. I decided to take up the cause of putting the puzzles together, if for nothing but my own curiosity.

In my ventures of collecting records and reading too much stuff, I accidentally identified three previously unknown members of Patriot Front! I decided to register for a Noblog, in the event Twitter collapsed and erased the public record of that work. In building this space, I found myself with an opportunity to share other things that I had written, and things that I had decided I would write a good while back.

The dossiers within this site are built upon the backs of countless antifascists, journalists, experts on the reactionary far-right, and a great deal of many other people who are more capable than I am.

I’m a fan of the works of Terry Pratchett, and identify strongly with his leanings toward what other people have described as “militant decency;” that the anger itself is not the actual problem of feeling angry, that there are things that people do to other people that should make you angry and want for justice, that one can harness the anger to make the world better.

I don’t know if what I’m doing here, all this writing as an act of service, will help you or make the world better. Still, I’ve decided I’m going to try.

Be safe out there, friend!

– Sam

For You

If you’ve not been properly inducted into antifascism as an ideology, you’ve come to the wrong guy to educate you about it! Still, I have some media & reading that might be helpful.

Podcasts

  • I Don’t Speak German, by Daniel Harper & Jack Graham, the early episodes especially are vital to understanding the modern proliferation of neo-Nazi thought into pop culture
  • Weird Little Guys, by Molly Conger, as she weaves together one massive tapestry of people involved in or adjacent to Unite the Right, genuinely an excellent listen
  • It Could Happen Here, by Robert Evans, Sophie Lichterman, Mia Wong, Garrison Davis, and others, there’s a lot in there, I genuinely recommend the Desantis’ Fashwave Adventure 3-parter from July 2023
  • Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff, by Margaret Killjoy, because it is not enough to understand there is an enemy to fight, but that a better world is possible and that there are people who are trying hard to make that place manifest

From the Horse’s Mouth

‘By Way of Plymouth’ is responsible for doxxing 20+ nationalists from various nationalist organizations in the New England region. Plymouth’s doxxes are extremely sophisticated, Plymouth uses tactics to flip and pressure family members, members of organizations, and close-friends in order to obtain personal and compromising information on nationalists. Plymouth weaponizes nationalists private and personal information and has left fathers without means of living and extremely detrimental damage to countless nationalist families across the New England area. This behavior is extremely sinister and unacceptable and Plymouth must be reprimanded for his actions; however, even if he is, nothing will repair the catastrophic damage which has been inflicted on the families, the relationships, the children, and nationalist organizations in New England.

– the preamble to “Operation: Broken Hatchet”, a year-long effort by the Patriot-Front-adjacent Northeast 131 / East Coast Left Watch to identify me that led to a shoddy faildox of a person who wasn’t me, it entertains me that they’d think I’d stop even if they had gotten the right guy, released July 4th, 2026.
