Preamble

Jake Colwell (born December 4th, 2002) of Danielson CT is an online white nationalist troll, failed New England separatist organizer, failed candidate for the Connecticut State Senate (as indicated by his social media presence during late 2020), and American neo-Nazi. He self-described as an “esoteric utopian Hitlerist” as of 2024. Colwell has born a great deal of pseudonyms in online spaces, the most recent of which are “Lord Protector Sunny” and “Burgundischer Totalitarist.”

In his capacity as an organizer, he has failed several times to create a group with any amount of momentum or enthusiasm in its participants. In his capacity as an online troll, he has had apparent associations with New England neo-Nazi street crew NSC-131, and operates in the proximity of the social networks of Satanist & esoteric neo-Nazi terror networks Order of Nine Angles & Tempel ov Blood, the Terrorgram-Collective-adjacent Soyjack Attacker Video Fandom subculture, and the 764 transnational sextortion network.

Colwell was last known to reside in Danielson CT, his apparent hometown. [1] Recent admissions made on social media indicate he is studying political science at a campus of higher education. [∗] The closest higher ed. polisci program is out of the Quinebaug Valley campus of Connecticut State Community College, located in Danielson. [2]

[Speculative: Okay, look. Colwell is either a potentially dangerous extremist associated with several groups connected to school shootings, terror attacks, and street violence, OR he’s an unbelievably stupid terminally-online do-nothing gadfly loser in the orbit of those same groups, not unlike a depressive and laconic version of Ian Langille (with whom Colwell shares several online spaces). Is he writing a manifesto because he’s planning to go out in a shooting? Does he have a graveyard of discarded Reddit accounts that he’s used to contact kids who self-harm, to convince them to self-harm more? Is he just a role-playing shitposter who thinks life is a vending machine that spits out respect if you feed it enough posts? Who thinks thousands of hours in a military sim available on Steam for $50 plus tax makes him some kind of actual strategist or propagandist, deserving of the respect of the despots he seems to worship? I don’t know for certain! I do know he’s a virulent neo-Nazi with huge streaks of racism and misogyny who thinks Hitler is a holy figure, and he occasionally bases his noxious social media content on his classmates. My opinion is that Colwell will ultimately pass to time in anonymity having been unable to marshal the effort to build anything, a judgement that is admittedly biased by my contempt for him. Still, I’m not gonna take chances here. It’s well past time to set a match to Colwell’s anonymity.]

This dossier’s remit revolves around collecting information about Colwell, thus forming a foundational knowledge base composed from an antifascist perspective. Unlike other dossier subjects on this site, Colwell’s more worrying activity as a neo-Nazi and otherwise is suspected to be conducted in opaque spaces with no outside observation immediately possible. Early life

Colwell appears to have spent some time as a student of a small private K-12 & transitional living school in CT, indicated by photos of him hosted on their official website circa 2020. These photos are available on archived versions of said website. Neither the name of the school nor the links to the photos will be provided here.

According to Colwell himself, he was not raised into religion, but adopted Protestantism at some point before inducting himself into right-wing Twitter. [∗]

To his own admission, Colwell scored 100 on an IQ test in 9th grade. [∗] [Speculative: This is, of course, the base average score, the one that says “you’re just as smart as the average person in your age group.” Also IQ scores are bunk trash.]

Timeline of activities

2020

Starting in December, Colwell appears to have devoted some effort to a campaign for the 2022 election of the Connecticut State Senate. He was 18 years old at the time. [∗] On the 29th, Colwell explicitly directed followers of his “PFNE_GNEB” account to follow his official Senate run account. [∗] His last recorded activity on this account, a retweet of a Youtuber, appears to have occurred on February 3rd of the next year. [∗]

On April 10th, Colwell directed followers of his “PFNE_GNEB” Twitter account to follow a fresh “Party of Free New Englanders” Instagram account. This is the first recorded instance of him using the obscure Lovecraft elder sign variant, which would aid in tying Colwell to his identities as “Unhinged Syndie” and “Lord Protector Sunny”. He still uses this sigil in 2025. [∗] [∗]

On June 21st, Colwell anonymously wished a Happy Fathers’ Day to subscribers via his “Party for an Independent New England” Facebook page. He also liked the status update using his personal Facebook account. This would prove vital in identifying Colwell as the person behind his several online identities. [∗]

On December 4th, Colwell wished “the founder” a happy birthday via his “PFNE_GNEB” Twitter account. When asked who the founder was, Colwell replied with an alternative Twitter account, the handle of which contained his birth year. [∗] [∗]

2021

On June 7th, Colwell created a “Party For an Independent New England” Telegram channel. As of the time of this writing, it has nine posts and two subscribers. [∗] [Speculative: The acronym for this is “PINE,” and I do strongly believe this is where NSC-131 founder Chris Hood got the idea to name his civic NSC offshoot the “People’s Initiative of New England”.]

On July 3rd, members of NSC-131 “mobilized” in Wakefield MA, in response to an armed stand-off between state police and a Moorish sovereign group in the area. [1] Afterward, they proceeded to Malden MA, where they tagged the support struts of a bridge passing over a local river. [∗] Colwell, calling NSC-131 “heroes,” boosted the Telegram post concerning this NSC-131 action not three minutes after it was posted, via his “Party For an Independent New England” Telegram channel. On November 20th, Colwell made the final post to his “Party For an Independent New England” Telegram channel, redirecting to another chat he controlled. This final post is marked as submitted by “Jake C,” his Telegram handle at the time. [∗]

As of November 29th, Colwell was participating in the unsecured NSC-131-controlled “New England Nats” Telegram chat as “Jake C”. [⊗]

On November 30th, Colwell was personally invited into a NEN voice chat by NSC-131 founder Chris Hood, alongside members Liam MacNeil, Tyler Moody, and Kevin Cottle. [⊗] Colwell would participate in several similar voice chats initiated by Hood in this channel until it was made private.

On December 25th, Colwell admitted to the NEN Telegram chat that he was writing a “manifesto”. [⊗]

2022

On January 12th, Colwell claimed that he was making another attempt to start a New England independence party to the NEN Telegram chat. This resulted in an argument with NSC-131 founder Chris Hood that included Colwell posting a photo of his personal ID, cropped to display only his date of birth, and stating he was trying to run for the CT state Senate. Again, this would prove useful in his identification. Later during this chat, NSC member “Phillip Roberts” asked why Colwell didn’t join NSC-131. Colwell claimed that he just didn’t “have the time” amidst concluding high school, though he would “love to.” Other members noted that he seemed to have time to run for a senate seat. [⊗] [Speculative: I seem to recall Colwell claiming, via his CuriousCat, that he wasn’t allowed to join NSC-131 on account of his age. I kinda doubt he was telling the truth, in light of this exchange? I didn’t have the foresight to save this answer, sadly.]

As of November 1st, the Connecticut Secretary of State did not list a “Party for an Independent New England” in their table of “Minor Parties.” [1]

On November 8th, the state of Connecticut held an election for state senate. Of the ~643k votes cast, 191 went to “other parties and write-ins.” It is unknown how many of those votes went to Colwell. [1]

On September 24th, Colwell registered his “Sunny’s Ordenstaat V2” Telegram channel. The name “ordenstaat” appears to derive from certain Axis win conditions in Hearts of Iron 4 mod The New Order, specifically ones that involve Heinrich Himmler gaining control of his own state in Europe. [1] Colwell’s server acts as a repository for his original memes. [∗] [Speculative: It’s also a monument to his continued failure to get anything done or successfully insert any ideas into the neo-Nazi spaces he occupies.]

On March 11th, Colwell registered his “The Sunny Diaries” Telegram channel. [∗] [Speculative: While it’s possible that he used it as a journaling space, any indications that he did have been removed. Or he just registered the account and completely forgot about it until next year. Or he put no effort into it, like everything else! Also he probably named it that to invoke the Turner Diaries, Day of the Rope, etc.]

On November 13th, Colwell joined the group chat for the “Historical New England” Telegram channel. Controlled by NSC-131 member and alleged CT regional lead alias “Phillip Roberts,” several other NSC members would take part in the chat until it was made private following the stabbings at former NSC-131 member Charles Netter’s home. On January 5th, Colwell registered a Twitter account for his “National Front New England” project, another attempt to get a New England separatist project on social media off the ground. [∗]

On February 3rd, Colwell renamed his Diaries Telegram channel into “Dawn of a New Era,” claiming it would now be dedicated to an “esoteric Hitlerist religious movement.” [∗] [Speculative: Colwell’s thing for acronyms makes this name also double as “DONE”.]

On March 8th, Colwell recirculated a post from the Saxon Dawn Active Club, demanding that his followers join. [∗]

On May 2nd, Colwell donated $10 to Shiloh Hendrix‘s “Help Me Protect My Family” GiveSendGo campaign, under the name of the New England National Front. [∗] Hendrix is most widely known as a white woman from the Rochester MN area, who was confronted on video for using a racial slur against a 5-year-old black child. She summarily become a cause célèbre among neo-Nazi and white nationalist social media.

Later on May 2nd, Colwell had a brief conversation via NGL.link where an anonymous user asked if Colwell wanted credit in a “final manifesto”. To his credit, Colwell told the user not to do anything stupid before asking to not be credited. [∗] [∗] [∗] [Speculative: I think maybe immersing myself into communities where someone making this crack at me became a possibility would be a sign I should not be a part of that community.]

On May 28th, Colwell appears to have used social media to baselessly accuse a woman, with whom he is apparently obsessed, of sexually abusing children. The exchange, occurring over Twitter, resulted in the woman setting her account to private. [∗]

Beliefs

Colwell, a neo-Nazi, has made a multitude of references to being a racist, antisemite, and misogynist. He also has displayed a familiarity with memes and persons relating to Christian identity, left-hand-path Satanism, and pedophilia. This section will go over specific materials he has posted or boosted that lend credence to suspicions about his ideology and proclivities.

Esoteric neo-Nazism

Colwell identifies himself as an “esoteric Hitlerist”. He has described Hitler as “Our Lord and Savior”. [∗] [Speculative: That puts a spin on Colwell calling himself “Lord Protector Sunny”. He might not just mean the title Oliver Cromwell held, he may be indicating he views himself as the protector of his lord and extremely dead man, Adolf Hitler.] He has posted self-made memes indicating he is familiar with the concept of Hyperborea. Antisemitism & racism

Colwell is notably antisemitic and racist against black folks, referring to both TND and TZD (“total n█████/ZOG death”) memes frequently. [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] His racism has benevolent elements, agreeing with notions that Japanese people are “honorary Aryans”. [∗]

Colwell has boosted material concerning a canard that black people are subject to worship in the United States. [∗] He also celebrates the abuse of black people, and recirculates material that does the same. [∗] He has recirculated material that conflates black people with pedophiles. Colwell has called for the atomic bombing of Haiti. [∗] Colwell has spoken positively on apartheid South Africa. Colwell makes several references to the “DNB” meme. Ostensibly deniable racist-coded language, given the term doubles for the “drum & bass” musical genre, he has made it clear that the term, when he uses it, means “dead n█████ baby”. During an 18-day span of time during April & May of 2025, Colwell invoked the DNB meme 51 times on Twitter. He invokes it as a low-effort troll, where the surface-level definition of the musical genre is the thing people think they’re agreeing with, whereas the troll is that he means the racial slur about dead babies. Of course, Colwell obviously has brainworms, so he can barely get anyone online to engage with him about it.]

Misogyny, generalized & obsessive

Colwell is no stranger to boosting rape jokes or pro-rape apologia. [∗] [∗] Colwell, who openly advocates for the genocide of multiple peoples as well as the death of babies he views as undesirable, is also anti-abortion. [∗] He also engages in base misogyny in his online spaces, and boosts material that does the same. [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗]

Colwell has used incel-speak, and has boosted content that does the same. [∗] [∗] [∗]

[Speculative: So over the years Colwell has made a bunch of statements on his social media, about someone who rejected him in the past. The gist, after parsing through Colwell’s narrative unreliability and bad faith, appears to be that: he approached a female classmate who was nice to him; she turned down his advances; she continued to be nice to him, while maintaining her boundaries; and at some point she may have warned a mutual friend that Colwell has brainworms, ending the possibility that he could pursue said friend romantically.

[Colwell responded by becoming obsessive, accusing her of leading him on, attempting to bully him to suicide, stalking and doxxing him (of which he has never provided direct evidence), and having some proximity to the 764 sextortion network. He’s openly fantasized about swatting this woman, whom he admits he never actually dated. Recently, he also harassed her by outright accusing her of sexually assaulting children with no evidence (outside of his own theory that drawing porn of Spongebob characters, another thing he’s accused her of without providing evidence, is an indicator of pedophilia, a thing I bring up in case readers needed to understand the verisimilitude of Colwell’s brainworms outside the esoteric neo-Nazism), and then prompting his followers on Telegram to dogpile her. There’s some cross-over with claims that another woman forced herself upon him after he rejected her?

[Anyway I think it’s way more likely that Colwell’s digital social circle, largely based in a community of online trolls, are fabricating evidence of misdeeds that they then present to him to wind him up, a thing he has more-or-less admitted has happened in the past. It can be seen occurring on his social media timelines every now and then. [∗] [∗] Moreover, he appears eager to be trolled in this context, to have someone feed into what I am confident in calling delusions. [∗] [∗] I’m pretty sure, once he gets wind of this dossier, that his first impulse is going to be to blame her for this.

[Jake, buddy, fucko, if you’re reading this: I didn’t need anyone’s help to find out who you were. The people in your orbit messing with you will try and convince you that she had something to do with it, but it was just me. It took me less than five minutes, starting from your old PFNE account on Twitter and going to Facebook in search of the PFNE page you made there. You were the easiest identification I’ve ever made, and the only person really responsible for the ease of it is you. I’ve had you in my back pocket for nearly two full years because I didn’t think you were important enough to ID publicly, that there would be no point in it, that you were beneath me the same way your pal Langille was. Yet, here I am now, visiting my knowledge of your own history upon you like a curse, a yoke you will not have the capacity to shake unless you leave what you believe behind and become someone else. I hope that you can do it, that you can deradicalize yourself. I don’t think you will. It would take long-term effort, and I don’t think you have it in you.

[Anyway, Colwell’s fundamental position on his failures with women appears to be that anyone who has the temerity to refuse his romantic advances, or otherwise be perceived by him in a romantic context without reciprocating, has ruined his life, that he is not plainly responsible for the the way people react to his fetid outlook and vacant personality. His tunnel-vision is genuinely worrying. Unlike many neo-Nazis, Colwell forwards a posture of indifference to trans folks. [∗] Colwell is familiar with some concepts around trans identity. [∗] [∗] He has been accused by other right-wing Twitter accounts of being queer himself, though this is not infrequently used as a pejorative among this set during clashes of personality. [∗]

Colwell makes various posts about wishing death upon pedophiles. [∗] [∗] He also frequently makes reference to pedophilia, pedophiles or pedophilia memes, and engages with and/or recirculates material that does the same. [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗]

Colwell makes occasional reference to Peter Scully, the abusive pedophile, torturer, and murderer behind a notoriously horrific CSAM video. [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] Colwell recirculates material that does the same. [∗] Colwell has boosted material that invokes Scully to identify Pope Leo XIV as a pedophile at least once. [∗] Colwell has recirculated a Peter Scully/Tempel ov Blood crossover meme. [∗] [Speculative: Look, if someone were claiming to be militantly anti-pedophile, saying that pedophiles should be murdered, I think it would look bad to have a specific pedophile they invoke in any circumstance, even to discredit someone. Furthermore, they should not recirculate materials that put that pedophile in bass-thumping supercut videos made in the same style as other fashwave edits that elevate their favorite Nazi leaders. It rather undermines the kill-all-pedophiles surface message.]

Colwell makes occasional reference to Oskar Dirlewanger, an SS commander, war criminal, and convicted child rapist. [∗] [∗] [∗] He also recirculates material that invokes or glorifies Dirlewanger. Colwell occasionally boosts or interacts with material that features James Mason. Mason, a neo-Nazi thought leader with connections to Atomwaffen Division, has had several run-ins with the law regarding his relationships with teenage girls, and has pled guilty to possessing pornographic photos of a 15-year-old. Colwell occasionally invokes pears. [∗] [∗] [∗] Pear emojis are supposedly used as identifiers in clandestine pedophile social media networks. [1] [Speculative: Okay, hear me out even if this is gonna sound stupid. First, every emojipedia I’ve seen mentions that pear emojis are symbols of “freshness,” which feels like it could plausibly be used as a pedophilia dogwhistle. Second, the most commonly-used symbol for pedophilia once upon a time was the Pedobear meme. It does not escape me that, should you remove the four center letters of “pedobear,” you do in fact get the word “pear.” Finally, I’ve seen actual alleged pedophiles use the pear emoji in their Twitter bios in the wild. The fact that the connective tissue on this one is so dumb, that I feel like an idiot just explaining it, to me lends credence it might be true; see Ian Danskin’s explanation on the “Daily Dose” color scheme for an example of the kind of memetic mutation I’m getting at here. Colwell, when not invoking the death of his perceived enemies, also boosts accelerationist content. [∗] [∗]

Colwell has boosted Atomwaffen Division propaganda, standalone and in reference to the development of his own politics. [∗] He has referred to them without the context of their propaganda, and lamented their loss of relevance. To my estimation, as well as the estimation of several actual experts, immersion in content depicting real-life acts of ultraviolence is used as a tool to inure one’s self to the destruction of human bodies. Colwell appears to have invoked the “hero” meme at various points, occasionally using it as a social media bio. [∗] [∗] [Speculative: This is an incel-adjacent thing, wherein mass shooters who target women before committing suicide are called heroes. It’s distinct from the “an hero” meme, which is just about committing suicide. [1] The two do get conflated often enough, especially in the case of the Isla Vista shooter, though the former is more deniable and more difficult to source citations for.]

Colwell makes unbelievably frequent reference to the “Incredible Gassy” meme, a parody version of Pixar character Mister Incredible, that had seen some popularity among the Soyjak community during 2023. [1] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [Speculative: …There’s lore. This meme was adopted as a handle and community identifier by “Zuken,” an administrator of anti-censorship image board SkibidiFarms. There’s a whole KiwiFarms thread on this, to which I refuse to link out, in which it’s alleged that SkibidiFarms is replete with “ironic” child porn distribution (it’s never ironic) besides being a haven for trolls and gore enthusiasts. “Zuken” is alleged to be the admin of “NoLimitsPedia,” an Encyclopedia Dramatica knock-off whose name invokes pedophile & child murderer Peter Scully. “Zuken” is alleged to have attempted to create Roblox content involving Scully’s notorious “hurtcore” CSAM video, to which Colwell himself has occasionally made reference, as well. If all this is accurate, this also classes references to “Incredible Gassy” as pedophilia references, and boy does Colwell invoke this meme a lot.]

Colwell participated in the trolling campaign of “Chetnikson” a/k/a “Slash,” a social media personality out of Serbia in some amount of conflict with SAVF participant “Nitro.” “Nitro” is alleged to have some degree of proximity to the Abundant Life shooter and the Antioch HS shooter, both themselves participants in the SAVF network. Participants in the trolling campaign against “Chetnikson” appear to have conflated him with a random Serbian teenager; whether they are correct is unknown. [∗] [∗] [∗]

B. Creating and/or disseminating short video files that celebrate mass attackers, called “edits” within the network

See the entry on the Columbine shooters and the Christchurch shooter in the “Proximity to violent extremism & mass shooters” subsection for evidence of Colwell’s dissemination of material glorifying mass shooters.

While Colwell does not appear to have created “edits” that celebrate mass shooters, he appears to have created a video that celebrates Oliver Cromwell, particularly the decline of native Irish speakers in Ireland, from 1800-2000, in which Cromwell’s massacres during the mid-1600s likely played a factor. C. Involvement in the True Crime Community (aka TCC or “teeceecee,”) which is a fandom of mass attackers, including school shooters and serial killers

Colwell does not apparently participate in the TCC community, or venerate school shooters and serial killers of the stripe that would be found in the TCC community. However, Colwell does appear to venerate mass murderers, in the form of war criminals, perpetrators of ethnic cleansing and genocide, and repressive heads of state responsible for massacres and/or human rights abuses. The most prominent of these figures are Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Oskar Dirlewanger, Oliver Cromwell, Maximilien Robespierre, Lavrentiy Beria, Dimitry Yazov, and Kim Il Sung. [∗]

[Speculative: It seems to me that the main difference between Colwell and a TCC participant is the matter of scale, the amount of remove between himself and the deaths he might want to happen, and the amount of contemporary media in existence depicting their crimes in real time. He’s not exactly from the same mold, but there are enough commonalities to make it worth noting. Not for nothing likewise, but Colwell also seems to align himself with or otherwise boost material concerning fascist propagandists, some of whom he seems to personally identify with, including Joseph Goebbels, Sergey Taboritsky, Miguel Serrano, William Joyce, William Luther Pierce, James Mason, and Franco Freda.]

Colwell has invoked 764 sans commentary. [∗] He has also claimed 764 is an “antifa [operation]” after the arrests of several members. [∗] [∗] [∗] Recently, Colwell attained 764 followers on Twitter; this led to a conversation with another user indicating some familiarity with a video that had been circulated in the proximity of or inside a specific, unidentified 764 chat not known or accessible to the public. [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [Speculative: I was ready to scrap any notion of Colwell being anywhere near 764 until I saw this conversation. It whiffs of inside baseball. I can think of a handful of reasons why these two are talking about this, and the two big ones are either he’s being agreeable for the sake of it, or he knows something we don’t!]

Colwell has claimed that 764 member “Tailz” impersonated him at one point. [∗] [Speculative: This was an attempt to troll social media personality of questionable repute & conspiracy theorist Bx, who produces investigative content on 764 tainted by her own conspiratorial worldview. It’s a bizarre thing for Colwell to shitpost about. If it’s not true, he’s still claiming a 764 member knew him enough to jerk him around in a way far friendlier than most 764 members seem to operate. Probably a bad move.]

And that earthbound satanists can pray to the same god the evil greys pray to, and get themselves possessed by some otherworldly force? And that there’s a specific alien they call “Drill Sergeant Grey,” exclusively depicted in art as wearing a U.S. military campaign hat with the numbers “333” on it and accompanying uniform with O9A patches on it, that punishes them if they’re not evil enough? Personal life

Colwell has implied some degree of adjacency to inceldom, and laments his lack of a romantic partner. [∗] [∗] [∗] [∗] [Speculative: His posts also drip with self-loathing.]

Colwell’s online identities have a number of common threads, including references to 2020 surreal psychological horror role-playing video game OMORI, military sim Hearts of Iron 4 (in particular the Kaiserreich and The New Order mods), and manul cats, as well as a declared aversion to mayonnaise.

Colwell has apparently modeled his current primary online identity after “Sunny,” the main character from OMORI. Sunny is a non-verbal shut-in who has developed a hallucinatory alternate personality due to repressing the trauma of murdering his younger sister, whom a friend helped stage as a suicide. Several endings involve Sunny committing suicide.

As of February 2022, Colwell has admitted clocking over 2000 hours on Hearts of Iron IV. [∗] [Speculative: I don’t know when he purchased it, but that does make roughly an hour a day of playtime since its release in 2016.]

Let’s say hello to Jake Colwell, a/k/a “Lord Protector Sunny,” of Danielson CT! A self-described “esoteric Hitlerist,” he’s an extremely online nobody with aspirations toward a fascist New England. A long-term NSC-131 hanger-on, he’s likely been attending a local college since 2023.

If you’re a polisci student attending, say, Connecticut State Community College Quinebaug Valley or some other nearby school, Colwell can be identified from the photos of his face, his distinctive height at 6’2″, sedentary build, the stickers on his HP laptop, and patches on his backpack.

If he is indeed a classmate of yours, please reach out to your school administrator and notify them of Colwell’s online activity. Gonna ask you to NOT engage with Colwell face-to-face, please!

Back in March, a troll collective took advantage of a vulnerability in straw.page, an anonymous Q&A site, and sent out racialized gore videos to users. Here’s Colwell, posting about trolling a user traumatized by it, laughing about getting blocked, then trying to remain in contact with the guy rumored to have orchestrated it.

For those just tuning in, “DNB” is a dogwhistle used in low-effort trolling efforts. Most people recognize it as the “drum & bass” musical genre. Trolls in the orbit of the 4chan Extended Universe, however, mean it as “dead n█████ babies”. The goal is to get people to say they like DNB, unaware that they’re talking to a racist who doesn’t mean music.

Colwell likes this meme a lot. Over a span of 18 days, between April 22nd and May 9th, Colwell invoked DNB at least 51 times on Twitter. Nearly three times a day on average. Even uses DKB, a variation for Jewish babies. He can’t lie about not knowing what it means, either. He knows.

Colwell is big into memes in general. For example, he likes to irony-post about pedophilia, at turns wishing death upon pedophiles while meme-posting about infamous child torturer Peter Scully, who was convicted for the sexual assault and murder of children.

If it weren’t off-putting enough to have a specific favorite pedophile, Colwell also makes occasional reference to SS officer Oskar Dirlewanger, a war criminal considered brutal among even the Nazis. Like Scully, Dirlewanger has been convicted of the sexual abuse and murder of children.

So, which is it, Jake? Are you being ironic about being repulsed by pedophiles, or are you being ironic about worshipping pedophiles as long as they’re murdering the kinds of children you think are undesirable? (I don’t really think people are gonna care which one you pick after this, buddy.) I could go on for days about the memes Colwell posts, the pear memes (pedophilia-adjacent), the Incredible Gassy memes (also pedophilia-adjacent), the TND & TZD memes, but this thread would take forever and supposedly the irony makes them deniable. Let’s get to the neo-Nazi gadfly part.

Back when @src161.bsky.social IDed Ian Langille of Chapman ME as a terminally online, do-nothing neo-Nazi, I mentioned that Chris Hood of NSC-131 keeps a handful of Langille’s type around to dunk on when he needs to feel better about his life choices. I was pointedly and specifically referring to Jake Colwell, whose identity I’ve known since June 2023, who’s been known to lurk in NSC-131-adjacent online spaces since July 2021, and has continued to participate in newer NSC-131 controlled spaces as recently as this year.

Colwell is the self-professed founder of the “New England National Front,” formerly known as the “Party for an Independent New England,” which is not to be confused with Mike Ma’s Pine Tree Party OR the civic front for NSC-131, the People’s Initiative of New England, despite Colwell’s best efforts. 

I’ve also stated elsewhere that NSC’s PINE project was a direct lift from someone else who wasn’t really doing anything with the acronym? Yeah, Colwell had PINE down first. Did Hood use it with Colwell’s blessing? Dunno, but Colwell sure had sour grapes after NSC-131 members refused to immediately call him a genius upon registering yet another social media account with which he would do nothing.

But yes, besides NENF, Colwell is behind a slew of social media accounts to the end of nationalist separatism in New England, as well as a vanity state senate run starting November 2020.

Colwell did not apparently run a campaign outside of his online spaces. The results for the 2022 election in his district don’t seem to have reported any votes for him.

Colwell was not particularly difficult to identify, given the disclosure of his own birthdate in both Twitter posts AND an NSC-controlled chat, and committing the cardinal sin of liking his own campaign posts with his primary account on Facebook.​​​​​​​

Colwell’s slew of accounts on Twitter, Tiktok, Instagram, and elsewhere can be easily linked together by his personal tastes, exemplified by his choices for PFPs on his Telegram account: manul cats, art from surreal role-playing video game “OMORI,” and the imagery he uses as a sigil for New England independence.

The sigil is interesting. Colwell appears to have lifted it from an artist in Ireland, designed for a mod of a mod for WWII grand strategy wargame “Hearts of Iron 4”. In it, New England is a populist-national region ruled by H.P. Lovecraft. Outside of the source context, cursory searches indicate that this “Lovecraftian New England” flag is not used in the context of actual, organized New England separatism by anyone BUT Colwell and his friends. It makes for a handy identifier! The green symbol in the center, a version of Lovecraft’s “elder sign,” is so removed from any kind of nationalist activism (despite its passing similarity to the Elhaz rune and the well-known racism of its creator) that it’s more or less Colwell’s signature.

Colwell, who’s fond of answering questions relayed to him by q&a services NGL and straw.page, also ran a CuriousCat account for a bit! This account and his Telegram accounts also shared a PFP, from which the CuriousCat account took its name.

Colwell’s online presence on these q&a sites is so noxious that someone looking to harass and bad-jacket a sex worker went and created imposter accounts with Colwell’s CuriousCat set as the bio link.

Anyway, Colwell is a gadfly, obviously familiar with several digital communities of vicious trolls. He has kind words to say about Atomwaffen and the Order of Nine Angles, invokes Tempel ov Blood “noctullian” memes (DSgt. Grey is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard about), and calls 764 an antifa op.

Colwell is also worryingly in the proximity of the Soyjack Attacker Video Fandom (of which the Abundant Life and Antioch HS shooters were a part), and engages in a lot of habits SAVF participants engage in, including the glorification of mass shooters and the recirculation of pro-mass-shooter propaganda.

Colwell reeks of inceldom, and is apparently obsessed with a former classmate who SEEMS to have earned his ire simply by rebuffing his advances. He recently harassed her off social media by baselessly accusing her of sexually assaulting children. He also claims that he’s been fed evidence she’s a member of 764. I think it’s far more likely that the trolls he likes hanging around with are just lying to him, making shit up about how obsessed SHE is with HIM to feed his obsessive delusions and spur him into lashing out.

Find enclosed my dossier on Jake Colwell of Danielson CT, NSC-131 reject and noxious online troll. While Colwell has not shown signs of being dangerous outside of online spaces, a community with Colwell in it is not a safe one. ∴
