Brandon Brooks

Preamble

Brandon Brooks is an American racist, homophobe, and apparent neo-fascist. Brooks is allegedly a member of Patriot Front, and was identified by Reddit users after he was encountered by an antifascist activist on the ground in Bangor ME, while in the midst of putting up Patriot Front stickers with another possible member. [♥]

Brooks last-known residence is in Vinalhaven ME, a small island community off the coast of Rockland ME. He is previously of West Deptford NJ. [∗]

Brooks’s Patriot Front moniker is currently unknown. In various American nationalist, neo-fascist, and neo-Nazi chats on Telegram, he posts as “Risky Brisky,” a name which is an overt reference to the Jewish circumcision ritual.

This dossier’s remit revolves around collecting information about Brooks and cataloging his major activities, thus forming a foundational knowledge base composed from an antifascist perspective.

As with the other dossiers, changes since last revision will be highlighted as such. It’s with exceedingly high confidence that I can confirm that lineman Brandon Brooks, currently of Vinalhaven ME and previously of West Deptford NJ, is dead certainly a member of Patriot Front, and occupies several neo-Nazi and neo-fascist spaces on Telegram.

Anyone concerned with Brandon Brooks’s proximity to the electrical grid can follow this link to contact the Fox Islands Electric Cooperative, his employer.

While I’ve not yet determined whether or not Brandon Brooks is an accelerationist, he does operate in the proximity of a cultural milieu that sees the chaos caused by destroying the U.S. electrical grid as a key step in inciting race war.

I got wind of Brandon Brooks via Reddit, yes, I know, hang on. Users posted photos of a failed Patriot Front stickering up in Bangor ME from this weekend, and then proceeded to identify him by name before /r/Maine nuked the posts! Vinalhaven’s a small place, didn’t take much.

Not long after, pro-labor columnist & cartoonist Andy O’Brien proceeded to extract a handful of photos from Brandon Brooks’s Instagram and share them around. Wouldn’t you know it, they were rather familiar to me by way of Telegram!

Turns out he and I are previously acquainted. Brandon Brooks of Vinalhaven ME, who made the famous infosec bumble of Setting Gym Selfies as Profile Pics, goes by “Risky Brisky” in Telegram neo-Nazi spaces.

Folks keeping up with neo-Nazi lawsuits may recall that Brandon Brooks’s Telegram bio, “Nate Higgers,” is a slur-centric meme and moniker adopted by a number of other neo-Nazis, including Drake Berentz of Blood Tribe, a group under suit by the City of Columbus OH.

One of Brandon Brooks’s profile photos appears to be of him throwing a Roman salute while climbing a utility pole. Others show him training with a rifle, while wearing what genuinely appears to be a sonnenrad patch on his backpack. Another is apparently Wojak/Doomer meme art of himself.

Among other neo-Nazi spaces, Brandon Brooks of Vinalhaven ME participated in the “Historical New England” chat, even recirculating posts about sabotaging services for undocumented immigrants. Historical NE was controlled by NSC-131 member “Phillip Roberts” (ha, SOON)…

…and was one of the online venues where the conflict between NSC-131 founder Chris Hood and defected member Charles Netter bubbled to surface, shortly before the entire thing breached in the form of stabbings outside Netter’s home in Stratford CT.

Brandon Brooks of Vinalhaven ME even got a moment to briefly poke fun at Netter after he raided the chat to insult people. Could not stop himself from invoking the usual slurs given the subject matter.

I’d certainly prefer to point out to you reading whether or not Brandon Brooks of Vinalhaven ME is any given uniformed member of Patriot Front from their own propaganda! Sadly, that’ll have to wait until I learn more about him.

Early life

To his own admission, Brooks was a student at Gloucester Catholic High School while still living in New Jersey. He claims to have joined the United States Marine Corps at some point, which is supported by a photo of his mother and himself inside what appears to be Fort Dix, and later statements he made about being familiar with Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville NC.

Timeline of activities

2024

On December 13th, Brooks joined the “Historical New England” Telegram chat. Controlled by NSC-131 member “Phillip Roberts,” the chat became a public interaction space for several New England neo-Nazis until the stabbings outside the home of former NSC-131 member Charles Netter early the next year. Brooks used the chat to vent about American architecture, and left a handful of voice messages. [⊗] [1]

On September 14th, Brooks and another member of Patriot Front were encountered in Bangor ME while putting up Patriot Front stickers. Aggrieved locals brought photos of Brooks to Reddit, where he was swiftly identified before subreddit administrators could remove the posts. Online presence

Brooks occupies a number of Telegram channels, largely to do with American nationalism and neo-Nazi whining. This includes:

  • Historical New England, a neo-Nazi separatism chat masquerading as a New England pride & history outlet. This is operated by “Phillip Roberts,” a known member of the Nationalist Social Club of New England. A user estimated that roughly 20 members of NSC-131 took part in the chat. Users also included Connecticut neo-Nazi Jake Colwell, Maine neo-Nazi Ian Langille, and a handful of Patriot Front members.
  • The Aureus Press, concerning a vanity “traditional western art” book publisher. From their website: “Aureus Press was founded in 2017 by Brendan Heard/ Originally as a printer of books and articles related to art, esotericism, and ancient statecraft, a bold new direction was taken in the form of Aegeon Science Fiction Illustrated, a revival of the classic era sci fi compilation magazine such as Analog and Heavy Metal.” Also: “There are two things you can count on never getting from us: progressive political propaganda, and AI art of any kind.”
  • Bounds of Habitation, with the description set as follows: “One of the most politically incorrect channels on telegram. The purpose of this channel is to candidly explore and document the long-forgotten Biblical teachings regarding race, miscegenation, and segregation.”
  • The American Aesthetic, with the description set as follows: “Documenting American/Americana culture, art, architecture, history, nature, aesthetics, and identity.”

  • ETD Chat, with ETD apparently meaning “enjoy the decline.” While members are greeted with a “no violent rhetoric, spam, porn or gore” warning, members engage in strident racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, misogyny, homophobia, and ableism on the regular.
  • Ringside Seats, a channel dedicated to recirculating videos of people engaging in street violence or combat sports while users euphemize the contents of said videos
