Preamble
Garrett Michael Berna (born June 20th, 1986) is a mental health counselor and American member of both Patriot Front Network 7 and the New England Active Club (previously the Bay State Active Club).
Berna appears to have become a member of Patriot Front during a lapse of NW7’s online presence, a lapse occurred after the assault of Charles Murrell III by Patriot Front members in Boston MA during June 2022. However, his earliest known appearances include him traveling to other regions where Patriot Front has active chapters, as well as interacting with Active Clubs that either reside in those regions or have travelled to New England.
Berna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor under the Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services (license #LMHC10304). To date, he has no compliance actions against his record. [1] Berna claims he specializes in working with athletes, children, and adolescents. Berna offers telehealth sessions Monday through Friday, but also works out of an office in Newton MA during Thursdays. Newton MA is a city known to have the largest Jewish community in the state. Berna currently resides in West Brookfield MA with his wife and child, in a home he owns.
His unofficial designation as a member of Patriot Front is “WatchChump”.
This dossier’s remit revolves around collecting information about Berna and cataloging his major activities, thus forming a foundational knowledge base composed from an antifascist perspective. It will be updated should his identity become public information in the future.

I allege that Garrett Michael Berna, a licensed mental health counselor out of West Brookfield MA & practicing in Newton MA (lic. #LMHC10304), is dead certainly a member of Patriot Front and the New England Active Club. He’s likely been active with both organizations since April 2024, if not before.
I will not hesitate to point out that Garrett Berna, LHMC, appears to have joined Patriot Front AFTER members assaulted a local black musician in 2022, and that Berna remains a member while a $2.75mil judgement hangs over Patriot Front for said crime.
I sincerely hope that Berna is a professional, that his neo-fascist organizing and counseling practice do not overlap. If, however, you are personally familiar with his work and have bad news for me, I STRENUOUSLY recommend filing a complaint with the MA Bureau of Health Professions Licensure.
Now, as an antifascist researcher, I go on a lot of fishing expeditions. Usually I don’t find much actionable knowledge. However, my tendency to plug the name of PF lifer Mark Hayden’s wife, along with a “site:facebook.com” operator, into search engines has been netting me some bites.
Months back I noticed that Hayden’s & Berna’s wives were tagging each other a lot on public Facebook posts. Hayden has attempted to network member wives on his own wife’s behalf in the past; PF member Nick Cerce a/k/a “Mike RI” guessed as much to Alex Beilman a few years before The Divorce.
So I kept tabs on the accounts of both wives, Hayden’s and Berna’s, for interesting updates. There were a handful, like a photo of Berna’s wife at a pumpkin patch that seemed to have Mark Hayden in the background. Then, last month, a whole-ass marlin jumps in my boat.
Patriot Front does this thing called “Frontsgiving”? The idea is that it’s a chance for members’ families to meet in a friendly setting, share a meal, take some photos for the ‘(Tele)Gram, claim Thanksgiving as a movement holiday, that kinda thing. They’ve been doing it since 2022, maybe for longer.
First data point you need to know is that, on November 16th of this year, Hayden’s and Berna’s wives updated their FB profile photos, within a span of 70 minutes, to photos obviously taken in front of the same house. Lookin’ a little queasy there, Mayden!
Second data point is that THE NEXT DAY Jonathan Magnano, an Italian man pretending to be German, calling himself “John Fassbinder”, and an ex-Identity-Evropa guy, uploaded a photo of himself having attended a Frontsgiving SOMEWHERE in New England.
Magnano attended the last Network 7 Frontsgiving out of Plymouth MA. Gave a speech that sucked. Standing room only in what really seemed like a furnished attic.
Third data point is that this year’s NW7 Frontsgiving photos went out HOURS AGO, and Mark Hayden, his wife, Berna, HIS wife, and their kid were all visibly together in the same ROOM from the Magnano photo, on. The same. DAY. I FINALLY GOT YOU
Garrett Berna, a Patriot Front member out of West Brookfield MA, is easily identifiable by his build and attire. A powerlifter with a 3/4-sleeve tattoo on his right arm, Berna inevitably wears the same duds to conceal his identifying marks. He also flexes a lot.
Garrett Berna, LHMC, can also be matched to Patriot Front actions by his unique facial shape, particularly a chin that possesses Leno-esque depth but not height.
Garrett Berna, LHMC, has been recorded conducting a great deal of the usual Patriot Front bullshit throughout Worcester County MA with other Patriot Front members.

On February 22nd, Patriot Front conducted a series of national marches in Texas, South Caroline, Iowa, Utah, and New England. Network 7, in particular, staged a progressive series of marches through Manchester NH, Boston MA, and Providence RI throughout the course of the day. Berna was possibly present at all three New England locations. [∗]
On March 15th, the Patriot Front Telegram channel released a promo video of members training and putting up propaganda materials at undisclosed locations. Berna was likely present, and apparently recorded posting lawn signs (likely stolen and repurposed as propaganda materials) to a number of utility poles, as well as assisting with a banner drop. [∗]
On May 18th, the New England Active Club Telegram channel released photos of members hiking along Mount Wachusett in Massachusetts. Berna and his future wife were likely present. [∗]
On April 20th, the New England Active Club Telegram channel released photos of members sparring in a park in Worcester MA. Berna was likely present. The Patriot Front Telegram channel would release their own versions of photos from this event on May 3rd. On April 24th, the Patriot Front Updates Telegram channel released photos of members spraying graffiti in Templeton MA, and dropping a banner in Bellingham MA. Berna was likely present, taking part in spraying graffiti in Templeton MA. The Patriot Front Telegram channel would later release their own versions of photos from this event on May 3rd, suggesting this set was taken during the weekend of April 20th. [∗]
On May 18th, the New England Active Club Telegram channel released photos of members sparring in a park in Worcester MA. Berna was likely present. This marks the first apparent appearance of a wedding band as one of his accessories. [∗]

Personal life
Berna is a powerlifter, and spent time during 2014-2018 competing in powerlifting competitions. He was the first place competitor in the ADFPF 2014 Cabin Fever Challenge Northeast Regional Championship. In 2016, Berna was photographed for an article concerning the Centre City Gym in Brockton MA. [∗] [1] [2]
Berna may be an actor. He performed as part of the cast of 2014 indie short film Adonis. Shot in Boston, the film is purportedly about a man’s reckless descent into the world of bodybuilding, and the effect it has on his twin brother and social circle. Berna did not play a lead character, though perplexingly one of the three roles played by lead actor Adam Rose was named “Garrett”. [1] [2]
